Mounting and Hardware Features

  • Durable Construction: Hardware components are made from high-quality materials (e.g., high strength low alloy steel frames) designed to withstand heavy use and harsh environments.
  • Standardized & Specific Fittings: ISRI uses original, certified hardware and air fittings designed for specific seat models (e.g., 6860, 6500 series), which ensures proper function and safety compliance.
  • Mounting Adaptability: The seats are designed to be retrofitted into various vehicle types (trucks, buses, mining equipment) and often use mounting boxes and specific plates (like a Mack plate) to simplify installation into existing mounting points.
  • Compliance with Safety Standards: Mounting points and hardware are engineered to meet or exceed international standards like ISO 6683 (Seat Belts and Seat Belt Anchorages) and Australian Design Rules (ADR) for seat belts and anchorages. This ensures the mounting points will not fail in the event of an accident.
